In this article, we’ll be updating our community on some recent developments for Tempo DAO.

A message from the Tempo DAO Management Team

Before getting into the updates, we wanted to remind you what investing in Tempo DAO means.

The primary reason to invest in Tempo DAO is because you believe in the future of gaming. It’s as simple as that.

Our high APY is a secondary benefit that rewards long-term holders that believe in our project.

The best way to benefit from Tempo DAO is to invest with a long time horizon because that is when you will see the greatest capital appreciation and interest from staking.

As with any small cap project, we are not immune to general market sentiment. Volatility is expected. This is not something within our control. Corrections in DeFi are standard. We want our investors to feel as if they made the right choice. So DYOR and read through our Medium and announcements. If you’re in this long-term, no need to check the charts frequently.

The only thing we can control is the work that makes us unique in the rest of the Olympus DAO fork community: gaming. As time passes and our company becomes more established, we expect this volatility to decrease.

Partnership with Crescent Moon Games

At our previous AMA, we announced we have partnered with Crescent Moon Games to develop our first official game.

This company has a strong background in the gaming space. Among their most famous productions are Ravensword: Undaunted, Ravensword: Shadowlands, Morphite, and Ripshot.

We trust Crescent Moon Games to bring to life our vision for our first fighting arcade game. We view this as the first of several collaborations between Tempo DAO and Crescent Moon Games to create a product that our community can enjoy and benefit from long-term.

Introducing Project Lazarus — Tempo DAO’s first step into space and the metaverse

After a long time working behind the scenes, we’re finally ready to unveil another new project we’ve been working hard on, Project Lazarus.

What is Project Lazarus?

Project Lazarus is the first iteration of an MMORPG space game that will continuously be built upon into the future. In essence, Project Lazarus is Tempo DAO’s first step into space and the metaverse.

It is a strategy game in a brand new space-oriented universe where you can create your own NFT planet, build a colony, and explore galaxies on the Avalanche blockchain. Project Lazarus is a groundbreaking venture where people can MINE, BUILD, DESTROY, RULE, and EARN in space.

Project Lazarus was a previous project owned by the founder of Tempo DAO, Enigma. The project was tabled as focus was shifted to Tempo.

To continue providing our community with content, we decided to shift assets to Tempo DAO, as it had many good concepts and existing material to work with. Project Lazarus was never started nor launched. That’s why we decided to migrate it to our ecosystem, and begin working on it as an official part of a game universe for our community’s future.

Soon we will have a DAO vote to let the community decide where we will take the NFT project and where it could possibly go.

How will Project Lazarus work?

Each planet needs to be developed to increase its resource output, which can be done by constructing new facilities, upgrading existing ones and researching new technologies. Recruiting military ships allows players to attack other planets and plunder the resources, as well as defend from enemy attacks.

How do you mint your NFTs?

Minting an NFT with project Lazarus will be easy. All you’ll need is TEMPO and another currency (TBD) to mint. All TEMPO from the initial minting will be BURNED. Therefore, by participating in this process, you not only gain a new NFT asset, but also contribute to decreasing inflation for the Tempo DAO ecosystem.

Where do we go from here?

At Tempo DAO, we will build multiple universes to cater to gamers of all kinds. For example, we’ll build one based on Greek mythology and another on space.

Project Lazarus and our partnership with Crescent Moon Games are our first steps into these universes. We will work on Project Lazarus over the coming while to ensure we have a robust product that can bring value to the gaming community.

Addressing community concerns

All Tempo DAO decisions are discussed at length to ensure the healthy growth of our project and our true investors’ funds.

Our priority is for Tempo DAO to exist for several years at sustainable, yet still very high APYs compared to the crypto market average, than for us to pump out ridiculous APYs for short periods, and have our project disappear.

Compared to our other DAO competitors, we’re thinking much bigger picture.

Tempo DAO is a long-term project.

This is something we will continue to repeat to ensure our community understands how different we are to other DAOs. Our mission is not the same as Olympus DAO or Wonderland, but we take inspiration from them to build a framework that incentivizes more people to invest in the future of gaming.

We aim to take advantage of market hype, but our project does not depend on it. We are here to progressively build a more robust and well-respected product. In other words, short-term price swings should not matter if you’re here for the future.

Our current focus areas continue to be partnerships and game development.

• We have published several new marketing positions to join our team and we anticipate we will see further growth into other areas in 2022 as our project expands.
• Tempo DAO was listed on DeBank and DeFi Llama, two popular DeFi platforms on which users can now track their TEMPO investments and view important metrics relating to our ecosystem.
• We are constantly running giveaways to reward our community for their continued support. For example, on December 14, we gave away $1000 in TEMPO.
